Alumni relations are actively promoted in field-specific alumni networks and associations as well. Within the School of Science there are four field-specific alumni network and assocciation working in close cooperation with the student guilds.

The School of Science Alumnus of the Year
The School of Science nominates each year the School of Science Alumnus of the Year. In 2015, D.Sc. (Tech.) Marja-Liisa Siikonen, Director of People Flow Planning at KONE Corporation was the second person to receive the award.
